NY Penal Code Reference App Reviews

The app is very nice and simple, it only needs to be completed (section 70) for example for it to receive five stars. Mr. Developer, any way to start making a CPL and V&T version of this?

Good application, very convenient. Some sections are missing though. Needs to be completed.

This is a great app. My only beef is the search function only searches section names, not the statute text itself. Otherwise its a great app. PLEASE make apps for NY Vehicle & Traffic Law and NY Criminal Procedure Law (and ag & markets, etc.)! I will be recommending this to other cops.

Great app. In my line of work, I could use this app every day.

Its a great application but the searching kinds stinks. I already recommended it to a bunch of people who have downloaded it. We need the NY VTL and the Admin Code. And how about the NYPD Patrol Guide, that would be huge. So many people would buy that. Thank you.

Wanting an app like this for awhile. VTL APP would be really appreciated. Maybe also app with pictures of state licenses with security features.

The search ability is extremely limited, I have tried several searches using key words such as hypodermic, instrument, billy, billy club, hashish and no results. It is an excellent idea but the search ability needs to be improved.

Penal code: 221 (Marihuana) Should be spelled "Marijuana". As a NYC Correction Officer this Application offers a quick break down of charges without the guess work. It comes in handy!

great app just need administrative code for nyc and maybe the vtl and parking violation codes and the patrol guide too good for any law enforcement agencies lawyers correction officers students and whoever wants to know the laws

First let me tell you the app is flawless Second Marihuana is spelled both ways and with an "H" in the penal law, and by the NYPD, the fact that this app updates with new additions is great and is in a very readable form and the way they add the class of crime is fantastic...

The app is to the point. New York penal code in your hands. But like the dev says its only for references so dont go to a judge showing your iPhone or iPod touch to show him the latest penal code. Please do use proper sources. A must buy app for law enforcement or anyone working in criminal legal field.

I love the app.... Im a officer and having this app accessible when im doing my paperwork is great!! Hands down its 5 stars. A wealth of information at your finger tips. People who rate it less is crazy. Good buy for $5. Someone earlier mentioned some ideas about some other apps u should create for example: the NYC administrative codes, NYC VEHICLE TRAFFIC LAWS, etc. Those will be handy as well. Great job on this app!

Nice app, need the vtl and Nypd patrol guide would be awesome! Fix the search also could def be better. Otherwise you are onto something big!

Makes processing a lot easier!

This is a good app. Good for quick reference, no more caring around that big penal law book. Very great idea. Developer please work on getting the Nypd patrol guide I would definetly purchase it in a heart beat.

Please add a "favorites" feature. It is annoying to always have to scroll for a law, and please improve the searh bar, it is horrible, but all and all it is still a great app.

The search function if this app works poorly. Just got a competitors, which already appears to have superior search functionality.

Ask for updates and got nothing. Dont waste your money.
